Had some hands on time last week with t-mo branded dash3g and th new touch, that touch flow is tight, not a winmo fan but this could win me over, if a phone can have sex appeal it did, it did....

I can go to the loyalty/retentions dept anytime I want because every time I dial 611 it says I am a loyal customer and I am eligible for 2 special offers which is the "loyalty plan" that I already have.

that transfer is going away soon, i'd say oh.. june 30th

If a rep tells you he doesn't know he is either an idiot or has a manager that is strict on leaking info as we as reps are not allowed to speculate, leak or talk about phones before t-mobile makes the official announcement (they are cracking down on this hard do to recent "roadmap" leaks). There has been no official announcement yet regarding this phone, but yes it is coming and yes we are getting trained on it.  My region (possibly all regions) are establishing a windows mobile expert for each store (I am my stores).  The expert will attend the training and pass the learnings onto the other reps in the store. 

In my region they are training "HTC Ambassadors" (I'm one) one person from each store gets their hands on the latest Android phone (MyTouch) and then we train everyone else on it. They are supposed to be giving out 25 TP2's so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I get one. I should know by the end of the week.

I really hope you do so you can share some info with us.

You were very right.

I think it's pretty obvious he was just trying to get a quick/immediate sale, rather than confirm a release for you later on. You know these guys get commission. Either that or he just didn't know what he was talking about.

I don't believe a word that rep said. They hardly know anything until a month before the devices are released. Heck we probably know more about tmobile than they do.

i have been a t-mobile rep for over a year now in the boston area..and the thing is, we find out about things before you even see it on the site..most of the info you guys see are leaked from employees(most of the pics are from our trainings, streamline or demos) we get demo phones about a 2 months before its realeased which are where most of the hands on shots are taken from..we have 4 mytouch demos since june and after playing with one since im def waiting for the tp2
