I bought this as soon as I saw it posted, without even needing to read.  His NES and Genesis emulators are perfect, so I'm sure this will be the same.  Now I wish I would've put my SNES roms on my SD card when I loaded my NES and Genesis ones.  More work for me now, ha.

Once again, this genius trumps the other phone OS emulators with Snesoid- this SNES emu is impressive!  The one thing I hope he adds is a "fit to screen" option for all of the emulators- just like Android Arcade.  Some games may take a slight frame hit, but the option would be nice, none the less.

I have tried over 100 roms and about 92% work very well!  Three A class emulators in a row.  Since SNES emu plays as well as it does, GBA should be at the same great level of success.  Wow!

I'm having a problem that I'm wondering anyone else is. In chrono trigger when you get to the world that's in the future, after marle runs away with you, in all the domes all I can see is clouds. I've tried 3 different roms and they all do the same thing. I've checked online walkthroughs and I'm doing everything. Is this a glitch with the emu or am I missing something in the game? If anyone knows that would be great.

Edit; dev fixed the problem. Back to gaming! Yongzh rocks

Observations :)

1)  With the update, Snesoid works on about 95% of the roms I have tried- almost every rom loads, so the other 5% ish have graphic issues but still play- Chrono Trigger and College Slam are examples with missing or corrupt graphics.  Amazing this emu is works on more games than the already amazing Nesoid and Gensoid= WOW!

2)  No other SNES emu can touch this one for a phone or portable and I have emulators for many devices as reference ;)

3)  It may be best if the dev removes the rom search function for obvious reasons.  Though appreciated, most folks can quickly Google it themselves.

4)  I still think a fit to screen option would be nice for all three emulators

I hope the dev does a Turbografx emu after the GBA- based on the Smartgear dev, 40% of the work is already done when creating the NES app.

Turbografx has Galaga 90 and a "better than arcade" version of Raiden. Not to mention the best collection of shooters for any console  :)

Hint Hint...they still don't work!

First, we will not be posting any illegal materials on this website, and that includes links to ROMs, so you are asking in the wrong place.

Just as an FYI, I had this same exact problem on an emulator on my computer like 7-8 years ago.  There was some sort of graphic setting that needed to be changed by me (I forget what it was called) but the emulator didn't properly handle a certain thing that made this part unplayable.  After changing the setting, it fixed it.  Since this emulator doesn't really have user settings, I guess the author went in and changed how it emulated the fog effects.

yeah he added a transparency option which solved the problem. It just slows gameplay down so I turn it off unless its needed

Glad you found something.  We can't really post any of those sites up here either, but they aren't too hard to find thanks to the great search provided by Google.

yes that's correct. The emulator just plays roms (which are games) and doesn't have any games it self. If u get snesoid the dev added an option to search for them right insde the app which is handy. A quick google search will also yield results. I recomend trying the app for 24 hrs to see if u like it or not. I totally think its worth 3 bucks. Hope this cleared it up for ya

I also recomend downloadiing "astro" from the market. It enables you to download roms directly to your sd card and play them using snesoid. They all store in the "download" folder on your sd card. Astro also let's u manage your files pretty easily. I've pretty much had astro since it came out and use almost daily

The reason for this is that it would be illegal for anyone to sell or even give away their emulator.  An emulator is perfectly legal because there is no copy right infringement, it simply processes games and runs then.  The ROMs are dumps of the cartridges that you would put in your system.  These are copyrighted and it is illegal to offer these.  Many sites certainly do, but any devs trying to bundle them with their emulator would quickly find a lawyer from Nintendo paying them a visit.
