So I see this phone mentioned for $350 with a T-Mobile account & contract.  Which site or who do I contact If I wanted this phone for this price?

This is from http://www.mrgadget.com/onthetopic/article.lasso?ID=2009031

"However, once purchased, users who call Pharos at 1-877-7-PHAROS (774-2767) to activate voice and data service at a minimum level from T-Mobile with a two-year contract will receive a rebate of $250 bringing the price down to $350!"

STILL only see the 137 on Expansys, available in 5 days.  Nothing on Newegg nor Amazon.

I talked with Pharos today and was told the release was delayed until next week.  On another forum there was speculation that the delay was due to the newly released update to the Spb Mobile Shell.   If true, another few days of waiting will probably be worth it.

Here are the improvements according to WMExperts.

 http://www.wmexperts.com/released-spb-mobile-shell-301

Version 3.0.1 makes minor additions and fixes issues discovered in version 3.0. Such modifications include:

    * Saving unknown phone numbers from the call log has been added
    * Showing/hiding SIM contacts has been added
    * “Show Today” widget has been added
    * “Remove All” option in call log added Performance of portrait/landscape switching has improved
    * Some issues with “Edit Profile” dialog box on Treo devices has been fixed
    * Contact matching in call log has improved
    * Performance of hardware accelerated carousel has improved

In using Mobile Shell 3.0.1, the screen rotation from vertical to horizontal is almost instantaneous and the overall performance appears to have improved. Some users reported a power drain with version 3.0 but it doesn't seem to be present with 3.0.1.  Overall, the modifications included in 3.0.1 have made a very good application a little better.

It's puzzling that the Pharos 137 appears on Dell's Canadian website with a June 15th release date, yet the phone is nowhere to be found on Dell's US website.

Anyone know if this applies just to new contracts or to contract extensions as well?

Thx - Marcus.

Pharos told me that the release date is June 18.  Now that Amazon is taking pre-orders maybe June 18 is finally a firm date.

The 137 is finally showing up "in stock" on some websites.  Both Provantage.com and Compsource.com had 6 in stock as of this posting.

I just want to say, I have one now.
It's different hardware, and I am happy with it so far even though it's not better than TP2.

What data speeds are you getting? Is it on par with Htc devices?
