aHome

Selina - It's one of the themes you can get to use with aHome.

I think the dev just put that theme up last night.

And yes, I've noticed the application tab and how it's hidden.  i sometimes hit it when trying to use icons on the dock

i can't get the tab to come up to save my life. Not that big a deal.

It's fun playing with the themes, and even cooler than a couple swipes and taps and you can be right back to the Android Home.

i cannot get bettercut to work with ahome for the life of me, i cant get it to put any shorcuts on it at all, and yes i checked the other screens, anyone else have this problem and how do u fix it?

Bettercut doesn't work with aHome or dxTop, and since it's written by the guy who does Open Home...  best of luck

I was able to creat a shortcut with anycut for "text wife" so i can text my wife. or are you talking about something else.

Yah Anycut works with aHome, I'm not sure what BetterCut does :ahem: "better" than AnyCut lol so maybe try it out

Finally installed SDK (lazy).

I found out the tab only works if you have Apps Drawer enabled. If you have this disabled (like i just did) then it will not show up .

One thing that pisses me off.

When I first downloaded aHome - it gave me the ability to swipe from my home page to the left and it gave me all of my apps on the right, if that makes sense.

Then, I went and did the updates - and dev removed this feature. Now I have no swipe available from the home page (read: left to right) and can only pull apps up from the tab.

If you're an early adapter and help spread the word dev should let you keep that feature. I've since deleted the app and have gone back to the Android OS theme.

aHome is great, because it allows you to change your theme but I won't be forced to pay for something that was previously free.

You can do that still, it just takes a little setup time.

If I'm understanding you right that is.  Desktop management has an option to start placing all your apps onto a screen.

To get Any Cut (and what I would presume Better Cut) to work with ahome long press the desktop to bring up the "Add Desktop Item" and select "Shortcuts".  From there select Any Cut (not sure about Better Cut) and proceed as normal.  You cannot just launch the app and create shortcut.  Doing this sends it to the regular Android Desktop.

BetterCut only works with stock Home, and Open Home.  It does not work with aHome, sweeter home, or any other 3rd party home application that I know of.

I love this app. Deep black is my favorite theme so far.
