this phone is amazing! i just dont get why samsung builds the memoir that has an 8mp camera and so many LESS features then the acme that also has an but its like twice the thickness.

The Acme may have a 8 MP camera but it could be of lesser quality than the Memoir. This phone is meant to go up against the Touch HD and N97 in Europe and Asia, not solely a cameraphone.

Engadget had a hands on viewing of this phone, it looks nice.  If only it were to come here.

It's smart of Samsung to ditch Windows Mobile for S60. Windows Mobile is the kitchen sink of mobile OSes but it's hard to get simple tasks done efficiently.

well win mo 6.5 is a killer. it looks amazingly easy to use.

It's still good old broken Windows Mobile at the core. A significant reform won't be coming to WM until WM7.
