I heard a rumor that T-Mobile might be picking up the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. Can anyone confirm this?

FYI, here is a link to it: http://www.nokiausa.com/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_1124987

Welcome to TMoNews!

I can't say that I've heard any news on us getting that device on T-Mo.  I'm gonna have to agree with the above sentiments and say that I highly doubt this will happen.

i think the 5800 is a little too high end of a xpress music phone for tmo to offer...they will most likely invest their on other phones such as data devices..the 5800 has been around for sometime now and we havent heard a single reliable rumor that it would be coming to tmo USA so i'd say NO!!

T-Mobile has the worst line-up of Nokia phones. We need better Nokia phones.

Well we have the best lineup of Nokias. Verizon only has 1 Nokia phone and AT&T offers a few including 1 S60 device but it sucks. AT&T is even advertising it as a feature phone I believe.

Here would be my lineup of S60 Nokias. Have the E63 marketed as a messenger device that can do business for $150. The E71 could be added as another business phone for $200. There would be the 5320 XpressMusic as a low-end S60 phone at $150 or $100. Then have the N79 as a lifestyle device at $250. If T-Mobile wanted to really test the market, put in the N85 at $300 or the N97 at $400 before a $100 MIR. I say testing the market because customers haven't shown the appetite for devices above $300.

Oh Opps sorry. I meant the US has the worst Lineup of Nokia's. Have you looked at Europe's lineup of Nokia phones?

It makes me jealous from time to time but I would probably still stick with my BlackBerry. I would like a E71 to use if it had decent push e-mail and T-Mobile 3G though.

I would kill for the 5800 to be released for Tmo 3G.  I just called Nokia's customer service, and the guy couldn't tell me if they would offer a version for Tmo 3G.
