don't like the price tag and the release date.... but the price is not set in stone yet.

optical zoom, or digital zoom.  I'm going to guess digital zoom.  It looks nice though, but hopefully that price tag doesn't stay.  I wonder how thick it is and now I just want to get my hands all over it, good job!

I think it's probably the little loop thing where you can attach a lanyard/wrist strap. Looks like the right shape, and that's where it is on the Behold.

Also, hopefully we will finally answer the question of whether this thing has wifi or not in the marketing window. That might make the $300 price tag more right.

300 with a 50 mir that crazy talk i bet my nokia n82 takes way better pic than that phone and its just a couple bucks more unlock and uncrumpled.. i guess ill be staying with my n82 with Carl Zeiss  optics

The price is still insane no matter if there is a rebate or not. If that thing has no wifi, there is no chance that I'm picking up that phone. The G1 is 179, yet the memoir is 300? Is this some kind of a joke?

yes it is a joke, they shouldve made it a smartphone, then i would have gotten it

I think we need to wait for the actual specs to be released before we pass any judgments on the price tag.  I also think the phone is a bit pricey, but there may be some special things in there.  Also, the camera could, and actually should, be amazing.  Lets see what happens tomorrow.
