Surprised there's not one.
Bluetooth headsets are a great investment for any cell phone owner, not to mention in some states they're required while driving. What this fine forum needs is a dedicated bluetooth section where we could discuss, recommend and not recommend bluetooth headsets or other bluetooth devices. It could take a lot of the guess work for new buyers out of the equation and make choosing a particular bluetooth headset (or other device) over another a lot easier and with less confusion.

Reading amazon reviews alone doesn't always yield satisfactory results.

That's not a bad idea.
Addicted to flashing ROMS.

I'm not sure.  There are some devices that work with other bluetooth headsets better than others due to compatibility reasons - so I would just recommend to ask about accessories (bluetooth sets included) in the dedicated section for the manufacturer of your phone.  Or in the specific device if we happen to have one of those at that time (like the Behold, G1, 8900, etc).

That's my opinion though, for what it's worth.

I see what you're saying, I just thought it would be a lot more convenient to have all that info in one place. For instance where would one post a review of a particular bluetooth headset? Most bluetooth devices are almost universally compatible. It just seems cumbersome to ask for opinions about a particular headset in a particular brand's section. I just think it would be better to have that info in one section so users wouldn't have to sift through multiple threads. I know search is an option. I was just thinking convenience.

One more thing, and sorry for the double post, but what if users have multiple phones? I know a lot of us do. If we need a bluetooth recommendation should we post a request in each manufacturer's section? That seems like a waste of time and space for all of us.

Just something to think about.

Just to let you know, there is currently some discussion going on in the background on something of a solution for you.  It won't be a bluetooth specific category, but something that should work for you if we decide to go that direction.

....of course, whether or not it actually happens is open for debate it seems.  ;)

It would be a great addition I think.
Cell phones and bluetooth headsets and other accessories go together like chocolate and peanut butter. Yum.
