I want to see this too.
And to anyone who has it can you answer a question?
On my wife's pearl 8120 the back is kind of loose; on the curve 8900 is this fixed?
Thanks and post those pics up!

Anything that you want to show, but mostly identifying T-mobile marks like the myfaves circle, tmobile icons on the homescreen etc...

I got to check it out today when our MarketStar BB rep stopped by. It really is a gorgeous phone; I'd say it would be perfect if only it had 3G.

TMO/RIM are having a sales contest for retail reps. If you sell 16 Blackberry handsets with the data feature, you automatically receive an 8900. If you sell more than eight, you are entered into a sweepstakes for one. The last contest required only ten, so this one is pretty steep.

Now that is one sweet lookin phone. Can't wait to get mine on the 11th. 8)
It may end up being my favorite of all my phones. ;D

To amyers:
Nice pics. 8) I got spooked for a second because the curve 8900 actually looked smaller than the 8320 in the "in the box" comparison. An optical illusion, I assume, based on the other comparison pics of the 8900 and 8320. Definitely looks like a good sized BB; smaller than the bold yet not cramped.

If you don't mind answering a question or 2;
Does the back fit tightly?
How's the trackball movement? On my wife's 8120 it almost feels loose (though I know it's not).
How's the camera picture quality and how strong is the flash?
How do recorded videos come out?

Thanks. If I had karma to give it would be yours.  ;)

1. I was alittle disappointed at the back, it fits fine but if you try to move it around you can. The latch to open on the back is different than the Curve (8300 series).
2. The trackball seems alittle smaller, but it also seems to be very smooth and doesn't feel as "catchy" as the 8300 series did.
3. I haven't been able to take any daytime pictures but the camera is alot better than the Curve 8300 series. Alot is due to alot better flash, alot better camera, a covered lense(about time) and it also has auto-focus like a real camera.

If you've been using the Curve, it will be an easy upgrade to this new handset. The only problem I've had is with the keyboard, it seems smaller to me for some reason, I'll get use to it.. I'm not one to complain

I received my 8900 yesterday and it is easily the nicest phone I have ever owned. The video player is especially nice and it will play mp4 videos without problem... such as those converted using tubesucker. I don't particularly care about 3G so while having it would be nice, it isn't a deal breaker for me. It is afterall a Blackberry and like all others, it simply works... and if my past experience is any indicator of future performance, the battery life will be great too.
