I have the Curve 8320 (not for long, just ordered the 8900 today!) and I have been having serious UMA issues lately. Anytime my device attempts to connect to UMA via punc.t-mobileuncs.com and psgw.t-mobilesgws.com for the Security Gateway Address, I always get a W006.1 or .3 error. This is occurring in more than one wifi network. Anytime it tries to connect to the 'mpc' address it works, but more often than not its the 'punc' address. I'm no dummy to UMA, and i've tried everything. Anyone else having problems? I'm in Wisconsin. Thanks.

Still having the same issue, even with the 8900. I haven't had UMA service since January 20th. I've done two sim card swaps, double check settings in all wifi networks that I have access to...nothing. Trouble ticket has been opened for over a week now, so we'll see what happens. I hate that half of the reps I talk to don't even know what the hell i'm talking about when I explain.

My phone doesn't have UMA, but my wife's also got an 8900, and it's not connecting. Both yesterday and today we noticed the problem (and yesterday, eventually the network stopped recognizing the SIM completely, a restart fixed that and reconnected to UMA). Albuquerque, NM. It's the weekend so it's not a big deal as all our minutes are free anyway, and we don't pay for the unlimited service, but we were considering upgrading to it and ditching our home phone, so we'll be keeping an eye on the reliability. If the connection doesn't get better, it's a big strike against T-Mobile (not that it would matter - we're locked into a contract for another 2 years, anyway).
