Yes, that's the roadmap for BlackBerrys for the next year. There's no mention of a 3G BlackBerry for T-Mobile there though. I hope T-Mobile at least gets the 9220. If no 3G BlackBerrys next year, I will be disappointed.

That seems pretty typical. T-Mobile customers getting the short end of the stick.

dont blame rim, blame tmob for not shelling out the dough on both the network and hardware...remember tmobs target audience is not necessarily the same as att. tmob users are more...frugal...hence tmob may not feel they need to go out and get the high end blackberries when the majority of the people on tmob are just happy with a curve or a pearl...

so you mean to tell me someone would not buy a high end blackberry for lets say 249.99 vs 179.99 G1(full upgrade or 2 year contract)  i find that hard to believe we have that many cheap customer...i believe all carriers except verizon have there cheap customers, as we do have enough corporate users but i get your point..

me?  i would...but im into that kinda stuff... as evidenced by me being....here on this blog.

but tmobs target audience seems to be those furgal minded folks who want more for their buck by way of services...like uma, myfaves, generally cheap everything.  the average tmob customer seems to care more about using the phone for...a phone.   to help offset the cost of offering service on the cheap, they dont release as many highend devices.

i mean look how much of a hit att takes with every iphone they sell...but then they charge you hand over fist for actually using the damn thing.

It's a bit pitiful. But I can see why RIM is doing this as enough people are excited about the Curve 8900. I just want a 9220. Curve 8900 with 3G. I'm not going to be happy if there isn't at least 1 3G BlackBerry in 2009.

It's a roadmap based on what rumors there have been so far. I'm pretty sure it's accurate as one of the writers for BlackBerry News said it was dead on.

So, maybe we all should switch to AT&T. Where we know phones will have 850/1900MHz HSPA+.  Would be funny if that happened and the site went from TmoNews.com to AttNews.com. LOL.

Lol that would be funny. I only reason I don't switch to AT&T is there overpriced plans and their customer service which SUCKS!

Quite possibly. I am loyal to a few companies, but the selection of phones T-Mobile gets leaves a lot to be desired.

Exactly. The only reason right now I am with T-Mobile is because of my low priced plan from 2003 and because of the awesome customer service T-mobile gives to their customers.
