Christmas/ Hanukkah / Kwanzaa Thread 2008.......

I love this holiday!!!!!! Even though for some reason this year the holidays just seem like any other day.

If you celebrate Christmas are you going to church?
What gifts did you buy your loved ones?
What is your tradition on this day?
What are you cooking?



If you don't know just post the day after Christmas and tell us how it went.

I love spending time with my family on the holidays. They are sooo funny and it just feels like the right place to be when your around them. . I don't know what I am doing for Christmas yet but I will post the day after to let you know what went on.

As far as gifts I got my bf 2 gold rings. One of them said "DAD" in the middle with diamonds around it and the other was exactly the same with without letters and had 4 rows small diamonds in the middle. I also brought my best friend the tm506 the other day.

The only thing that I have got so far is a Shiatsu massage chair from GNC.

Ohhhhh and My BEST gift (kinda) will be a new truck....(not brand new but newer than what I have).





Just be thankful for the holidays even if you have no family or no one to celebrate with. There is someone who has it worse then you do out there. You might not have family but someone else hasn't eaten in a days. You might not get anything but think of the person who doesn't have a place to live. You might not get exactly what you wanted but someone right now is in the hospital fighting for their life and might not make it to Christmas to see their family.  A lot of people didn't wake up this morning. Just be thankful that you are alive and have it better than a lot of people. It is a time to give thanks and count your blessings!!!! I hope more blessings come your way!

Why are the holidays depressing? It seems to be the fashionable disposition for the holidays this year for some reason. (For some that's every year though. Just more people this year.)

I miss when I was a kid and opened all the presents under the tree. I should bring that back. Now...the gifts are hardly ever wrapped up. lol.

Ok I got a freaking GPS from my dad that is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then the one I brought around black Friday. I also got a bath set from my bf. It's smells so good.


So for Christmas I got:


-A gold and diamond bracelet that has hearts of diamonds and then gold in the middle and the work love with a heart for the "o" all the way around it.

-A GPS

- A shiatzu/rolling massage chair with heat (www.homedics.com)


- a bath set.

-possibly a truck but not sure about that one yet
