It's not a bad design. kickstar is just overzealous about the new 8900 Curve. It's built pretty solid, nice screen, big SureType keyboard (which does take some getting used to), decent 2MP camera, pretty pocketable overall, 4.6 OS. I just wish the processor had a bit more power.

Oh yes^^^ I can see that. Can you give me any tips on using it. I was so frustrating. The one one the 8120 was so easy for some reason so I thought this one would be the same but I guess not. Maybe it was just me.

Can you give me any tips on using it?

I don't really know any tips. I used the Trooper Typing game to familiarize myself to the keyboard better.

I've heard some people can type faster on SureType style keyboards than QWERTY styles. I was pretty fast on my Pearl 8100.

you can wait or take a look at the flip, i like it better than the 8120 for the keyboard size, i like a open face more than a flip but the keyboard is a little small for me. i am a curve/g1 user an like full keyboards,

i watched the video on the 8900 and wondering about the differences. different charger smaller format, smaller screen faster processor, no 3G, multiple buttons on top one for mute the other for stand by, supposed better sound?? this is not enough to make me upgrade unless i get an awesome deal.

Input please...

What smaller screen? Different charger? Where did you hear this? Also I don't want a different charger because that means I have to buy a new car charger!

Oh I didn't know that. +1 I have to go to the store and check it out. It sucks because the tmob store my friend works at there is no parking. Someone almost got towed away before and I saved their a** by running in the store and telling them. Thank goodness my bf was sitting in my car so...what are they gonna do tow him with the car? (He's a big guy ;))
(There is a parking lot behind the store but it's a tow away zone..I have no idea who is allowed to park there. The employees aren't even allowed. It's where all the outlets are and they have to park like two blocks away everyone else has to pay about $10 to park.)

Thanks bk for the info I'm glad I see one person that likes the flip better. :D

The Curve 8900 uses micro-USB to the Curve's mini-USB. The Curve 8900 also has a slightly smaller 2.4'' screen to the Curve's 2.5'' screen but the higher resolution definitely makes up for it.

Read the forum rules and search!

i saw on the vid they said had a better yet smaller screen is size and easier access to mem card +new battery the only ups?  it kind of seems like comparing the bb 7100 and 7105   the differences will not make me schill out some coin to switch at this point  maybe i will have to see it to feel the need to switch...  between my curve and g1 not feeling it  [yet]

3G? that would move me. touch maybe...

So the micro-usb is the one on the Pearl 8100 and Motorola W490 right?
