Turning off the Camera Sounds on the Behold

Anyone know how to turn off the horrible sounds the camera makes, even when the phone is on silent?  I saw three different shutter sounds, but no OFF setting.

i use the 3rd option you can barely hear it and after a while i dont even notice it but i dont think you can turn it off completly

this is intentionally done by phone companies due to privacy issues

Okay so I finally got around to checking this out.  (I have a 6 month old son) anyways I was able to turn off the shutter sound.

I did so by using TKFileExplorer same app used to install apps onto the phone.

I went into Registry
then uploaded camsettings.ini to the computer from the phone
then I opened the file with notepad

In the file there is (ShutterSound=1)
the sounds are
0
1
2
these are the settings to make the stock shutters sounds 0=1, 1=2, and 2=3
so I changed the number to 3 which doesnt have a sound and saved the file
so the file should appear as so (see attached pics)
Then you just delete the old camsetting.ini that is on the phone(you might want to make a back up file just in case)
and upload the one you just adjusted for no shutter sound
The settings in camera will now show nothing in the shutter sound spot it will just be blank.

I do still get a beep when the auto focus lets you know its ready but its way better then the loud sound that wakes my child up when I'm trying to take pictures while he is sleeping!

Also the video start sound is gone but the video end sound is still there

I think there are a few variables in these phones due to them maybe being built in different locations possibly.  I know that my current phone and the one I exchanged had slight differences so maybe it just how your phone is.  You did go into the registry folder right?  there are quiet a few files in there all of mine are .ini tho

well what i did was went into registry and upload the camsetting into my desktop. I then opened it and put 3. and save it. but didnt overwrite it. then download and doesnt work..
BUTTTT..... i fixed it.. i just overwrited the one  that showed  1 and  replaced it and it work now! THANKS!

No problem I'll let you know if I figure out a way to silence the video end sound to because that one is extra annoying

Just got a behold 4ish days ago and love it minus the locked screen issue.... it is starting to wear on me and im debating taking it back and getting a curve. I've searched the web for a few days now and it looks like this problem can't be fixed? is this true?
