HOw do you embed youtube videos for a new topic?

use this:

[youtube]YOUTUBE VIDEO ID HERE[/youtube]

The video id is what comes after the v= in the youtube url.

to embed a youtube video you are going to use the following code:

[youtube] ***** [/youtube]
now wat goes in the ***** area is going to be as follows:

lets say i want to embed the youtube video at this url  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpP7b2lUxVE   (just a random family guy clip)

you are going to use everything that comes AFTER the "="

so in this example i would substitute "cpP7b2lUxVE" for the ***** and thus giving me the code:

Code: [Select]

[youtube]cpP7b2lUxVE[/youtube]
which turns out like this:

[youtube]cpP7b2lUxVE[/youtube]
