aim on the behold is it better then the g1

Ok ppl how is yo aim working on the behold I got the phone for my wife on monday and got it today yay but we come from a sidekick I have the g1 but the aim sucks big time how is it on your behold

It works ok, I find it annoying that it won't download my whole buddy list, which apparently the G1 does.  What do you find annoying about the G1's AIM?

am if u have a comp get on aim and move all your buddies  to the mobile divice  see if that works

Ok the aim on the G1 will bring upo all ur buddys after a bit but when you get a messege it will come though as if its u, like in the convo it will be uner ur name like ur taking to ur self and it gets all confusing, lol but then again all the aims on the ponhes I have used so far are kinda bad the last phone I had only had all the ppl on ur list that had phones so that was only a few and that really pissed me off beacuse there was alot of ppl I wanted to talk to but it did not let me, but as far as it being better on the behold I dont see how it could be worse lol I do Like the yahoo on the G1 that works pretty good

woow look at thi s nig*A WHAT U MEAN WHO USES AIM EVERYONE DOSE HELLO I CAME FROM A SIDEKICK TO TTHE G1 I TALK TO EVERYONE TRU THERE ITS A EASY WAY TO TALK TO PPL  NOW I TRYED THE BEHOLD AND IT SUCKS TO THE AIM ONLY TAKES OUT LIKE 5 PPL OUT OF 109 WTF IS THAT THE G1 AIM SUCKS TO  MAN THESE PPL CAME MAKE A GOOD AIM

i actually know for a fact that using a sidekick and AIM/yahoo/msn is really big in the deaf community.

You dont have to be in high school bud to use AIM. I dont know about the rest of these guys, but there are friends I have met over time online, and Messenger is the only option to contact them , especially if they dont have a phone. Making long distances is outrageous if you dont have a long distance plan.

The only resion I stoped using my aim as beacuse theres not alot of people on my buddy lies ( 299 is not alot of people to me when non of them are ever on anymore) there are only about 20 ppl I talk to over aim now and none of them are EVER on lol but its nice to have and I really wish G1 would fix it

I really don't think that kind of reaction was called for man.

The Beholds AIM is no where near as good as Sidekick devices because its not built for texting email and instant messenging the SK is.

all you guys are super sensitive. i use aim and yahoo but its not that serious to me.

Don't know. Have not used it in years.

I use msn messenger, and it works fine for me. As good as my sidekick was.
