Has anyone had any luck downloading and making google maps work with the Behold? When I try to download it begins then an error message comes up saying "content mismatch" and then closes. It is version 2.3.2 just so you know. Any help would be great thanks!!!

Great find, shadowg1, +1.  Hopefully someone will have some luck with this and let us know?  This is one of the main things that's keeping me from the Behold so far ...

I went to the site above and there is a google UK link, but I get the same mismatch error as I do with the US site.

I get the same error.  That vodaphone site above is if you are getting an error of unsigned, not content mismatch.  Therefore trying it repeatedly won't solve it.  Does the same thing when I try to install any google app (gmail too)

i've spent hours tonight trying -everything- to get google maps to work.. i do have to say im disappointed in the lack of support for this device.. feels  just like the G1, no customization at all.. no themes.. icon changes.. etc. i will say i did get gmaps to work.. its not that great.. but it does work.

i went and signed up for Mobile GMaps on their site.. i'll look for the link.. used opera mini to download it.. it works.. it uses yahoo maps for the interface which i do not like.. and it wont use google maps even though it appears to be a feature of the program. so... ive been able to install opera mini and Mobile GMaps.. nothing else.. google maps will NOT install on this phone.. im pretty sure of it by now.

Mobile GMaps is a pretty good app really.  It used to actually use google maps exclusively (I believe) but Google didn't care for them using their data so they shut them down.  I think mgmaps can use more than just yahoo maps though.
