G1 Doesn't Play pornhub video on site iphone does.

Why doesn' G1 play videos for this site when iphone does? Its not flash so why doesnt it play it starts off like its going to then it says can't play video. Before you ask of course I am typing moble before the site so of course its mobile version.

What kind of video is it?  Both the G1 and iPhone can only play Youtube videos.  Any other non Youtube video online would use flash (youtube also uses flash, but the G1 and iPhone get around this by just using the Youtube app.)

I think regardless of the content, the G1 phone is supposed to (and does to some extent) play .mp4 files. The iPhone seems to be able to progressively download and start playing the file. They're not true "streaming" video files, but rather normal MPEG4 .mp4 files that can be watched as they're downloaded. You'll run up your 1gb monthly limit pretty quick with pornhub tho ;-)

I should have said when playing those vid's on an iphone the quicktime symbol shows up, on the g1 it says i have no flash installed.

Yeah its now 10GB cap and its great.

Be careful, based on software and phone company concerns about being restricted to Java on the G1, this is a slogan that could be spun against us in favor of the iPhone.

You need a flash player to look at the phub.

Whats this 1gb or 10gb "cap" everyone is talking about.  I thought it was unlimited???
