i've used about a half a dozen of these and the best is the KATALYST for just a phone as it's the most hand friendly.

Things have changed since I have first posted.

First off, the post was up to date to around Blackberry Tour (8900)'s introduction.

Secondly, a whole range of Android handsets now have Wi-fi calling using Kineto.  I will be posting those handsets in a separate thread.  These are not pure UMA devices, with tradeoffs, such as not being able to seamlessly handoff between cell tower and phone.

Below are UMA devices that are sold on T-Mobile as of May 10, 2011 as of 3:20 AM PST.
I will also be posting MSRP/Contractual prices in addition to battery life.

Nokia C7-00 Astound
Talk time:     up to 9 hours
Standby time:    up to 25 days
MSRP/Contract:   $299.99/$79.99 (any smartphone data)

Blackberry Bold 9700 (Flash White)
Talk time:     up to 6 hours
Standby time:    up to 17 days
MSRP/Contract:   $449.99/$109.99 (unl smartphone data)

Blackberry Bold 9780 (black=no camera, white | blackberry os 6)
Talk time:     up to 6 hours
Standby time:    up to 22/17 2g/3g days
MSRP/Contract:  $449.99/$109.99 (unl smartphone data)

Very nice list. Thank you. Another good one here. I have the Nokia 6301, and love it. The wife, the Samsung T339, though, after having used the daylights out of it, she'd like an upgrade: probably to the Blackberry Pearl Flip. Alas, these UMA phones are set to become as rare as hen's teeth.  :-[
