You should write all of your essay answers from England's perspective and talk about all of the terrorist attacks done by heathen colonists.  That would be a lot more entertaining for him to read.

If you got the information right, it's not like he could take points off.  I used to that crap all the time just to keep them on their toes.  It makes taking tests a lot more fun.

Back on topic:

All of the people that were complaining about the "unusable chin" and other ridiculous complaints should really check out the hardware review done by Phonescoop.  They say it's plan but seem very pleased with the design, noting that it's easier to use than the HTC Diamond, Samsung Instinct, or LG Dare.

Quote
The "chin" that angles out at the bottom looks funky, but doesn't get in the way as much as you might assume from photos. We didn't even notice it when typing on the keyboard, something people were worried about before today from seeing only spy shots. The chin has the advantage of making it easier to hold and use one-handed.

See there?  Try using it before you make assumptions and complain about it.

I don't care for the carbon footprint app but the barcode scanner is nice. Let's see if HTC's reputation for bad cameras holds up and makes this application hard to use.

I would still like to see a RSS reader app (to replace Viigo on my BB), and an Office document editor. Since I use Google Reader, it would be great for Google to make a mobile version of Google Reader that syncs with the web one. So if I read a story on TmoNews through mobile Google Reader, it will be marked as read the next time I access Google Reader from my desktop. I hope someone can get working on the Office document editor though. I could deal without it if I had to though.

At least this camera has Auto Focus which will no doubt help quite a bit.  I'm excited because this G1 will be as good as my current digital camera that is several years old and only 3.1 MP.

I can't be bothered with the carbon footprint thing. I drive a hybrid, use canvas bags, buy green when possible, and recycle. That's enough for now.

The barcode scanner might help save some green though.

I'd really like to see some pics taken with this phone.
