how does one find out about these deals

HI...really bummed to finally have some days off and check this website and find out that I missed an awesome opportunity to get a free smartphone from T-Mobile.  How would I go about getting notifications of sales like this in advance?  I don't live in a town with a store or watch enough TV to have seen commercial ads.  Any suggestions of how I could get on some kind of email list?  I can't seem to find anything like that on the T-Mobile website.

You can do one of two things come to the site everyday or if you use Twitter follow it on there, @TmoNews.  This site always seems to be right on top of everything that goes on, it has been my favorite for quite a while now.
