G2 Android 2.3?

I tried going to a Tmobile store today to get my G2 upgrading to 2.3. I didn't want to wait for the OTA update because im craving 2.3. Anyways the Tmobile store i tried said that they have tried to upgrade two G2 so far and both of them wouldn't take the update. Anyone know when the next wave of OTA updates will roll out?

I got the OTA today 8/9 @ 4AM Central .... No issues....

I got the OTA update at 8pm 8/9/11

Hey I had a quick question. I rooted my phone using gfree a few months ago, but I didn't install any custom ROMs or anything, will I still get the OTA? Do rooted users(regardless of installing a ROM), not receive the OTA straight from T-Mobile. Thanks in advance.

U should still receive it any day now.. CM Roms (which I use) block OTA's.

I live in Baltimore. I called a T-Mo store and was informed that they hadn't even received the cards for the update. The rep told me the factory rep was checking because a lot of stores in the area hadn't received them. I am impatiently waiting like so many others.
