4.5" on my Sensation, Desire HD, HD2 is not hard to imagine. Have you used any of those phones? It sounds like a ridiculous size but honestly, it can be done using the same dimensions as the HD2-easily. Just extend the screen down the bottom after removing the physical buttons. In fact, carriers waste real estate all of the time. The G2x for example. Same lenght as y HD2, yet the screen is 4".

Personally, I would love to see this in person. I havent checked out AT&T's 4.5" Samsung yet. The only reservations that I have is, a screen that size needs to pack the right amount of pixels. WVGA looks wonderful on 4" screens and lower. After comparing the HD2, Desire HD and Sensation, qHD is the way to go.

I remember my Touch Diamond having a VGA display on such a small screen (2.8") and it blew me away. The reality is, the small screen packed a high number of pixels. Imagine a 3.8" or 4" screen packing VGA resolution? Not so great. Idk, guess we will have to see in person.

I just hope Samsung includes an LED indicator on this device! One with the standard colors too; don't want anything like the one found on the Epic 4g.
Addicted to flashing ROMS.

A buddy of mine has the G2x, he told me the Sensation was too big for him. I laughed when I placded both side by side and the height was nearly identical yet the Sensation had significantly larger screen. Whatevs, I have to see this in person, a 4.5" seems pocketable...

Both of you bring valid points. With today's capability, who wants a smart phone with a screen under 4"? You can still buysmall feature/smart phones, but is the screen size practical?  The HD2 pretty much did it for me.  To me, thescreen size doesmatter, a lot.  I would get an iPhone if it had a 4" or greater screen.  All multimedia is experienced better on a larger screen and with today's design/ergonomics, it doesnt feel like you are holding a brick in your hand.

To each his/her own though. I cant wait to see it in person.

Well that's true.  But I miss flipping open a narrow phone to quickly answer a phone call.  Anyone know if they make a lightweight bluetooth flip handset to pair with a typical smartphone?  I'm tired of holding a wide phone to my head for phone calls that turn out to last awhile...

I can't wait to see this phone in person, currently rocking the Sensation and completely loving it, but I'll definitely give this phone a look.

I am really considering this phone over my HTC Sensation.  The 42Mbps is a huge deal breaker for me along with the awesome Super AMOLED plus screen and 16GB internal storage.  However, I am a little reluctant on buying a Samsung because they lack updates and their build quality isn't that great.  I also had the Galaxy s 4g and found that interface to lag really bad.  Anyone sell me on this phone?

From the sounds of it the HTC Ruby is the phone you should look at. From what has been leaked it is in the same class as the Samsung GSII. 42Mps radio, 4.3in screen, same screen res. as the Sensation, 1.5ghz dual core proc.
