Okay I'm currently rocking a T-Mobile Vibrant and I decided to order a G2 (which is scheduled for delivery on Oct. 4), I want to hear what Vibrant owners that switched to the G2 think. Any Vibrant owners out there dump their handset for the G2? If so, how do you like it so far?

I don't own Any of this 2 devices And I think it all steps down to hardware keyword. Only cellphone fanatics will jump on this device and leave their vibrant. In my personal opinion it would be hard to decide but I think I would stay with the vibrant since their nothing to envy on the g2 other than a qwerty and stock froyo.

Of which Kick is one. :P

I'd take a G2. Working GPS for a few more weeks ahead of the Galaxy S, and a good hardware keyboard despite the screwy layout. The keyboard is great because you can use Swype in portrait, and the hardware keyboard to make up for Swype sucking in landscape. This is what I do on my Slide.

Also, I'm hearing that the battery life is great on the G2. It's as good on stock Froyo with 100 mAH less as Nexus Ones on CM6 which is very good.

The droid x had a efuze (supposedly) that stopped it from letting you root it.

I dont think the g2 will be any different to crack. if you really need to crack anything.

I don't have either, but was considering both the Vibrant and G2.  I pretty much had decided on the Vibrant, but now am thinking the new My Touch is looking pretty good.

I have a my touch FENDER which works perfect all the time. . . .I purchased G2 on day 1 and Day 2 I returned it; I felt it was the (all time) worst phone I ever owed; and i go thru 3 to 6 new phones every year.  I would not recommend the G2 for anyone; just find a friend that has one an play with if for several hours to make up your mind.  I have no problems with the VIBRANT which I can STRONGLY recommend this phone to anyone...

I dont like Samsung at all. I would recommend the G2 overall. It is a great phone & some of its issues come from the Froyo Platform itself.

I like both, but HSPDA+ is the only perk above the Vibrant. I have no huge need for that my 3G speeds are great. I prefer the Vibrant of course. I just have much more comfort with it. This is of course just my opinion.
