Not particularly good looking, is it...but fortunately, I don't care too much about that.
I'll decide when I have it in hand in the store.  And if it's not the one for me after all (like, if the keyboard isn't worth it) then maybe the G2X or Sensation...

I just got a mytouch 4g with the free promo. I like this so much better than my vibrant. I will be getting the mytouch slide for sure.

I guess I'll have to wait until I have it in hand in a store and see if having a physical keyboard is really something I need (as in my current-and-previous smartphones)...or if the keyboardless but otherwise-superior G2X or Sensation are a better choice for me.

You mean because it looks like the mt4g?  Maybe not necessary...but nevertheless nice.  Now, I don't think it looks that nice, but acceptable -- no worse than my TP2, and I'm OK with that.
It is the first time I've seen the keyboard in full-view...and it's a little different than the mt3G slide.

The big-deal camera stuff is new news.  It's not a huge selling point for me, but on the other hand I'd love to have a phone where I don't have to apologize, "Sorry, I took this picture with my phone".  (I have a digital SLR, so I'm not looking for that quality, just something good enough for FB, etc.)

I may end up picking up the Khaki colored one, would love to put this phone through it's paces!
It's supposedly is going to have mhl for hdmi out like the Sensation, so that's a good thing considering the camera this boy is packing.

if only the 4g slide had a 4" screen, that would have sealed the deal for me. but 3.7... not superphone material!  j/k
