Done with the lousy track ball on my BlackBerry (and the small screen) and with my two year time up I snagged a free G2.  Any suggestions on apps for Facebook/Twitter (I use socialscope right now) and a decent news/rss service like Viigo for BB? Guess I'll have to start using that google email account more now . . .

Try Google reader, nice and simple and you can use you computer or phone to add or delete feeds.  For twitter I use Tweetcaster, but have also used and liked the standard Twitter app.  For Facebook I just use Facebook.  I also came from Blackberry and don't worry you will forget about it relatively quickly Android rocks and youbwill love it pretty fast.

For twitter i use tweetdeck. its free and i think its the best twitter app they have in the market. Even compared to the paid ones.

And i dont use facebook but i hear the facebook app is pretty nice.

I went from a bb pearl to a g1 october 2008. Have never looked back.

For Facebook/Twitter, I use TweetDeck. It's pretty good. The best Twitter client and I don't have to use the official Facebook app much because it's pretty good for Facebook.

For RSS, might want to try the official Google Reader app.

I just switched from BB to a G2, it's been great so far. I just use the Facebook app and it works fine.
