regarding student discount?

I am a college and so is my sister. we are on a family plan with the dad as the primary account holder. <-- is this the right word? can I still call CS to ask to add student discount on our plan?

I was able to add a student discount to my line today by calling 1-877-453-8824.  This is the migration department.  The number was given to me by an online chat rep.  The discount varies by school.  If for some reason your school is not on the list, you can also register your .edu email address with StudentRate.com and get a 10% discount. 

One note - if you have a discount plan already (for example the no-longer-available Unlimited Loyalty Plan) you may have to change your rate plan to one that is currently being offered in order to receive the discount.  However, it my understanding that if you do the discount through StudentRate.com, it will apply to any plan (current or formerly offered) as well as data/text/etc.

Hope this helps... when in doubt I would just call and ask!

well i have that discount. thats why i was asking.
but i did go ahead and called 2 see if i can actually have both discounts on it.
it didnt work. i dont know if they just saw that i already had a student discount on it and tried 2 get another separate student discount from somewhere else. but if there were any others wondering about this same thing... it didnt work. well not with me at least. it doesnt hurt 2 try i guess.
but im assuming once u have a student discount, you cant get another one no matter whether its from another company/place.

It's a shame it didn't work. I think it is pretty standard with all carriers though that you can't stack discounts. I know I had a AAA discount with Sprint and couldn't get another one
