Gingerbread?

I am still holding on for Gingerbread.
My G2 is acting up more and more (reboots up to 3 times per day, occasional freeze-ups that can only be resolved by removing the battery).
I still have a little bit of hope that an upgrade might fix that.
I hate to give up the G2: Great form-factor, sturdy, keyboard almost as good as the good old G1, ..

I do not see any worthy replacement (keyboard and stock Android).

Have you thought about rooting it and putting CM7 on it?  It would definately make you happier and you would continue to love your phone.  If your interested go to XDA.com, got to the G2 forums and read, read, read.  If you feel comfortable root it and you won't be sorry.  Good luck.

Well im still enjoying nonrooted gingerbreadon my phone. i can't understand why tmo is holding it up? The only thing is netflicks and i found a Better way to watch movies!!

I have updated to 2.3.3 its so not worth it, i cant rooted my phone and its has a few bugs, but tmobile has started to relase the ota 2.3.4

Still waiting for my "Gingerbread" update TMO and while your at it fix the battery drain problem already.

Battery drain problem fixed but still no "Gingerbread". I would not have thought it would take so long to get the update out. It's been three weeks now and my TMO store has not gotten the SD version either, what's up?

easy fix: CM7 with 2.3.5 .. or just DL the Tmo Gingerbread OTA and put it on your sd card.. then flash it via recovery.
