I plan on rooting it but only when there is a much safer way to root, kinda like a one click root method, that'd be nice. Hopefully Cyanogen puts CM6 on this thing (along with Gingerbread).

One click root. SMH
The Slide was hard to root at first, but then an easier method was found, people who can't root shouldn't and it should be a little bit of work and not just one click. 

this is not one click root. you have a couple of adb/terminal commands to type but i see what your saying.

People who don't know that to do should not root.
