What is the best student discount on T-Mobile

Hey everyone!
I am considering switching to T-Mobile because coverage is really good on my campus compared to other providers. I am looking for the best student discount around right now  ... Anyone can give me some good advice? thanksss

well, usually student discounts range from about 10-15 percent if im not mistaken. it all depends on the university/college u attend. univ of colorado has it at 12.

Thanks! I heard that T mobile weren't offering student discounts anymore. Apparently it ended in November ... but then on another forum I found this thread mentioning a student site called Studentrate and apparently they offer a 10% discoutn on your bill.

So I did sign up for Studentrate and got a Samsung vibrant with T Mobile. That's the discount I got:

You don't need a .edu address to sign up anymore, they opened up their site to everyone for the holidays

Ya just register and it says right on the deal "Contact 866-464-8662 option 3 and give promo code 13997TMOFAV. You must state you are a member of StudentRate to get these discounts (your school name will not get you the appropriate discounts)"...so just do what it says and you should get the 10% discount

A 10% discount sounds pretty good. How do I become a member of studentrate? and do I actually have to be a student?

You can just got to their website  http://studentrate.com/StudentRate/ and register with your email, then you can find the 10% discount info there. I think the site opened up to friends and family so you don't have to be a student.
