If anyone ha a chance to roam on ATT, I would be VERY interested to find out if you have any issues.
With all of the screen lockup problem I have had today, I have gone back to the 2.13 ROM and the Radio_2_12_50_02_2 which was the most stable setup I had while in Princeville.
I'll bet I have hard reset, reloaded ROMs and reloaded my phone no less than 10 times today!
When I get back to Denver and stable TMO 3G, I'll give the 3.14 another shot.

Just wanted to update the community on my experiences running stock 3.14 ROM...

The Sense music player app is more fluid. The screen itself is a tad more responsive. One cool thing I've noticed is when surfing online via Opera, the screen will auto rotate itself no matter how you're holding the phone.  In other words, if you tilt the phone to the left, right, even upside down, the screen will auto rotate the image for you (this feature was not present prior to the 3.14 ROM-at least for me it was not). *I LOST THIS FEATURE. I BELIEVE IT WAS DUE TO A FAULTY CAB INSTALL, OPERA WOULD ROTATE IN EITHER DIRECTION, MY TEXT MESSAGE CLIENT WOULD NOT.* THIS IS NOT A FEATURE IN THE 3.14 ROM

I have yet to truly find any bugs with this ROM, I have had a few issues but I truly believe it is due to bad .cab files...

Any other positive/negative experiences since the upgrade?

For the time being, I have gone back to the 2.13 release.  Even with that, I am still experiencing the screen freeze ups where I cannot unlock the screen.  Back in Denver on TMO 3G full time again.
Not sure what is going on.  Hope my hardware is not flaking out.

Yeah.  Not sure what is going on.
I have been trying various things to uncover the lockup cause.
The latest I am trying is limiting the number of "special" shortcuts I am using for co0kie Home Tab 1.85.
Last week and today, I had configured the toggle switches for Weather, Wifi, Bluetooth, Flight mode and Silent on the first page of my home screen short cuts.  So far, no more lockups on 2.13.
I had also tied removing BattClock-3-0-3 as I experienced lock ups when I had that running.
I am really hoping the was due to using all of the toggle switches.  The new version of BattClock and the toggle switch were the only things different I had configured differently when the lockups started on 2.13.  Time will tell.
If I don't experience any more lockups with the toggles switches removed on 2.13, I'll probably go back to trying the 3.14 release tonight and see what happens.
Such fun!

I had a similar issue w/ my TP2 locking up & not responding. Caused by the task29. You need a replacement.

Replacement phone?  What exactly is task29?  I thought that was just to wipe the memory of the phone to make sure you were clean before installing another ROM.

UPDATE:  Also, what would you suggest I tell the TMO CSR to get my phone replaced?

Viper, I'm sorry, but I really don't think your issues were caused by the task29.  I have done it numerous times on my HD2 without any issues.  It's really fool-proof for the HD2.  I actually had to do it for the first time after trying one of the beta Android builds, as when I booted back into WinMo, the cpu was clocking too fast.  The clock and all timers were going way too fast, even after several soft resets and a hard reset.  The task29 fixed that issue.  Now I do it every time I try a new ROM.

mmeyer, if it comes down to you having to call in to get a replacement, make sure you flash the 2.13 ROM back and undo the HSPL(just in case they actually check it) since the 3.14 ROM has not been officially released yet.  Tell the rep what is happening, and they will have you try a couple of things, including a hard reset.  Also, you need to make sure your water damage indicators are still white.  If it still happens, then they will go from there as far as sending a replacement and giving you the instructions on returning the one you have now.

So far, no more lockups since removing the toggle switch shortcuts.  This is the longest I have gone without a lockup since the problem began a few days ago.

Thanks for the info on returning.  I had already downloaded what I need to undo the HSPL and my good old stickers are still nice and white!

So, no more lockups on 2.13 with Toggle Switches removed from my home tab using Co0kies Home Tab 1.85.
I have now been running 3.14 for about 3 hours, beating the crap out of my HD2 and no lockups so far, running with no Toggle Switches.
Hopefully, this is the end of this saga.  I'll post an update later and give one last update on this issue.

It was caused by a combination of flashing task29 & constantly flashing ROMs. The issue got worse in time it would take a while to begin experiencing problems. Eventually any ROM I flashed it would just freeze at any time & not recover. I also never hard reset after flashing a ROM either.

3.14 seems to be running stable now.  No lockups for over 12 hours.

Only issue I have noticed with 3.14 is with the B&N app.  When I have been reading and then stop the app, upon restart, I will get a WIN crash error and the will see the colored dots (MS) spinning and cannot access Sense.  Soft reset or power cycle is required to restore functionality.
Everything else seems to be running fine.

One other observation.
The battery life on 3.14 is much better than previous releases.
Have been running since 7:00 AM now 1 PM and still @ 83%!

Had another lockup this morning.  No changes made to phone since I thought I was at a stable point.
One observation.  I was in an EDGE zone, and then flipped over to a 3G zone.  Once I rebooted in the 3G zone, all is stable again.
I'll be returning to the same location this afternoon and see what happens.
Frustrating on this one!

I've had those freeze ups too. It was in an area of slight 3G coverage going to Edge. There is another thing. Facebook app isn't getting comments. When you select and double tap a post and then tap on View Comments, it shows the original post but no comments. Anyone have anything similar happen?
