I am switching from the G1 to the Mytouch slide. When I log into my google accou

I just ordered the MyTouch Slide and it is arriving today. When I switch from my G1, will all of my contacts be in the phone automatically simply by logging into my google account?

They should be, may take a minute but they should show up.  I had a blackberry, with google sync, which syncs the same way the Gmail accounts do and all my contacts showed up, and I have had to replace my Slide and when I signed in my contacts showed right up.  Also when you go to the Market any app you have paid for that is compatible will show up so you can redownload it without paying for it again. 

you should also download appbrain to sync your applications you have installed. it has been so helpful. I had to factory reset my mytouch slide and i was able to install all the apps i had before the reset. Its is awesome.

Once you sign into your Gmail all your contacts will automatically be synced.
