Just installed it this morning, but haven't checked it out in detail. The Genius button seems to work a LOT faster though, so that would clean up my biggest gripe.

Nothing great, I don't notice anything.
I support anyone who brings about competition and innovation. Be it Google, Apple, HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Palm, Microsoft, RIM, LG, Sharp, or anyone else I may have forgot. Variety is great. What's good for one person, is dead wrong for another.

So it looks like if you ever want root, root before you get the OTA. HTC apparently broke the recovery method to root in the OTA.

There's a rooted OTA up on XDA, but I do not see the point of that when there's CyanogenMod 6. 2.2 (Froyo) without Sense. My phone feels faster without Sense and the performance improvements in 2.2.

It finally showed up this morning or at least it has started, anybody no how long it takes. Just seems like it is taking forever, and sucking my battery down quite rapidly.

Took about 10 minutes for me which included a couple of reboots.

It finally finished after about a half hour.  Haven't noticed any real difference yet, but time will tell.
