Well I can say that its not on any carriers for launch this year. I think HTC has dropped most of the previous lines in favor of Android & WP7. So far no Touch Diamond 3 & no Touch Pro 3. I'm not even sure now 6.5.3 will even be continued. Earlier, Microsoft was too have 2 OS's for Windows Phone but it seems development for 6.5.3 has stopped at 23569. It may also have to do w/ support. So the handset is probably going to sit there & never come to any carrier.

im not sure on new Windows Mobile "classic" phones being released anymore after the HD2 & HD2 mini.. but WM did release 23673 not too long ago.. im using it now.. check my sig.

@T1 -- they prolly dropped that phone all together.. alot of those 2010 leaked HTC phones didn't even release (yet--if ever).

23673 is still copyrighted 2009.

i have no clue why it says that, but 23569 was being used for awhiiiile (the past 2 months) until recently.. cookers are starting to use 23673 now.. but im guessing that 2009 is the year WM6.5.X started, and not when the build was released.. i seen this same situation with other products with older copyright years.

im sure the higher the 23000 series (WM6.5.X) number means the the further development like many other software's.. think Opera Mobile 9.7 build releases.. and yea, see, its 2010.. but damn, March? i wonder why it just now being used? but i think i seen a few 23xxx builds with that ROM date (i think the last 23000 series build [23569] had that same ROM date).. so who knows.

Im trying to say how the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 branching works. You have like 234xx for Samsung & 237xx for LG like devices. Even tho thats not the correct order I can actually go find what it actually says. 23000 builds pertain to Windows Mobile 6.5. Like the 21000 builds are Windows Mobile 6.1. Yes the 23569 build has the same date.

The only ROMs in the mobile division that have been in production are Windows Phone 7 builds. I havent seen any NEW ones in the last 4 months.

there's 237XX? i never seen 237XX.. but your sayin for 6.5.X, HTC uses the 235XX and 236XX builds? im using 23673.. what will happen once it reaches 23699? go into 237XX? like i said, im sure its just WM build progress.. and 23xxx+ is only WM6.5.X .. and 21xxx series is for WM6.5

They use at least one of the branches. I think Motorola has one as well.

Oops 21000 is 6.5.1 & 18000 is 6.1? I'm trying to remember from memory.

I mean 28000 for 6.1?
