My original post said October release for the Mozart. Microsoft has major conference over the next week so we might get some further details.

I just want to know how it feels in hand. Looks pretty nice.
I support anyone who brings about competition and innovation. Be it Google, Apple, HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Palm, Microsoft, RIM, LG, Sharp, or anyone else I may have forgot. Variety is great. What's good for one person, is dead wrong for another.

I'm still finding it hard to believe this is what HTC plans to release as their first WP7 handset. Even I, someone who likes WM would not recommend such an ugly handset, they really didnt do anything other than slap WP7 into a nexus 1 style body. Compare this to the Dell Lightning http://www.gsmarena.com/dell_lightning-pictures-3280.php Why would anyone buy this half-hearted effort by HTC?

I look at my HD2 with its slim profile and almost edge-to-edge screen, solid build and sleek design and this new phone looks very poor in comparison. I thought HTC would be progressing in design, at least they tried to be in keeping with the HD2 design with the HD Mini, now this?

As long as the Dell has AWS frequencies I'll just buy that, a much better device IMO.

The only thing that interests me about this is the build. If it is an aluminum chassis, then good god. But I'd still want a 4.3'' screen.

I'd take a look at Samsung's phones first before making a decision. They will probably put something great together. Updates are pushed straight from MS so you won't be screwed in that department.

Ill buy both actually. Samsung will never produce Windows Phone/Mobile platform devices for T-Mobile. I'm very glad cuz Samsung sucks anyhow.

Im sticking with htc on this one because im anxious to see what procedure they come up with for hacking this os. we all know htc's ruu's are first to get hacked and flashed and are fairly easy to work with. everyone else....not so easy.

Some additional information on construction. It may be aluminum body.
