I'll be ready for my upgrade in October so bring it on. They need to have it out early so they can offer an insane price for BF. Hopefully the build quality would at least be equal to the Nexus 1 or Desire or even better. Something with business friendly looks, with additional covers for the people who customize their phones and a docking station. Is that asking to much for a TMO flagship android phone, to be able to compete with the best of the other companies?

Man, they better forgo that whole 'thinnest phone possible' crap and put a beefcake battery on this thing. I'm not really a fan of overly thin phones and I'm REALLY not a fan of charging my phone every day just so I can play Titres on the crapper @ work.

I'm ready to go back to a keyboard, and having it attached to this power house would get me to sign another contract with out much thought.  :P

With a 4.3" screen it should be a nice big keyboard, if it comes with one.

I really hope it doesn't. A 4.3 inch screen with a Keyboard would be HUUGE and pretty thick. I have the TP2 and its really thick which makes it a pain when taking it in and out of my pocket when I get a msg or changing music. I'd buy it if it were to come with a KB or not, but I just hope it doesn't.

yea with a 4.3in screen, im worried how a KB will be on this (i think 4in screen should be the max for a KB).. but TP2 is old tech (look how thick the screen part is).. but components are getting smaller.. the SGS is thin, so adding a KB to that shouldn't add too much more thickness.. also the components have to be more spread out (i think), so that should keep in low.. but anyways,, we'll see how this pans out..

Note: the HTC TP2 (Tmo) is 17mm thick.. the Moto Droid 1 (Verizon) was only 13.3mm thick (WITH a kb).. the SGS is 9.9mm thick.. check out the comparison here: Basic= http://bit.ly/bk9sZH | Advanced= http://bit.ly/cgVgK8

Have you seen the KB on the droid? It's horrible. If I had a choice of no KB and a droid like KB, I'd take no KB everytime.

The Droid has a keyboard, but you're forgetting it's complete trash. Thin devices with sliding keyboards suck.

If that device does turn out, it's going to have the feeling of "a brick in my pants." Around the 180g range, or what the TP2 weighs. I'd say 15mm, not exactly too thin these days but it's manageable.

yea i know its horrible.. but its made by MOTO, not HTC.. HTC can come up with something good.. look at the TP2 keyboard! so im sure they can get it down to 14mm (with a thin 1500mAh battery).. cant wait to see how this will look!

I'm ready to dump my BB8900 for this as soon as it gets here. I need a screen large enough to be able to see, since TMO won't get the storm or iPhone, this looks like the best way to go. Bring it ASAP.

Compared to an 8900? Uhh...

LOL. I meant that if that is all that he was looking for there are a TON of options out there. I have an 8900... I know how pitiful the screen is for web browsing.

Close to the same as a Vibrant vs. the new HTC Vision (4.0 to 4.3) (iPhone 3.5 to Vibrant 4.0). I think I would be able to see even better on the Vision. Makes it nicer to surf the web, send and view e-mails etc...

Don't know what happened with the enter key.
We definately need more info and a real picture of the new Vision and would also like to know what improvements should be expected with Gingerbread upgrade. Is Gingerbread the start of the changing to an annual android upgrade release?

Google's starting to slow down on their releases apparently. Also, Gingerbread is a big visual overhaul from the little I've heard of it.
