it may be updated , but its the same one that came with my nexus one , now it did say i think there was a update for it at one time ? dont remember UPDATE: this is what they emailed me ,Hi there

From talking to our Android development team about this issue; they’ve informed me that the fault actually lies with the Amazon application, not Shazam. We’re hoping that the Amazon application is updated soon to restore the previous level of functionality with Shazam.
so guess ill contact Amozon Mobile
