It does when one dev uploads 100 lame apps a day.

Makes it harder to find new and interesting things.

Ok I'm not going to sit here and argue with you but I disagree. I see iPhone developers making apps for android and they look just like they do on the iPhone just for the most part they are free, with the small ad at the bottom or top of the screen. if you don't want the ads just pay for the paid app.

and most of them are stupid. Like all these http://www.androidzoom.com/android_developer/requested-app_gbnw.html

and this

I'm laughing at that second one.

The more bad apps there are, there's usually more good apps to balance them out. See the iPhone. The iPhone is the closest to the Swiss Army Knife of gadgets. I still have to figure out IM on Android (I have to use MSN) and music on Android. I can easily handle both of those with an iPhone.

I rarely use MSN IM, but when I do use it I use "Hi MSN". For music just use Pandora, Slacker, Rhapsody, or StreamFurious. Amazon Mp3 and Shazam is a great combo as well. Oh, and how can I forget about TuneWiki.

Bad apps and all, this is great news! Not too long ago the Market hit 30,000 apps and games.

Yeah those are the music apps I use. I don't use MSN so I offer no help there.

And not every app in that app store tells you how long your penis is. But at least we are allowed to have one right?

I should have been more clear. I know that I'm going to use Pandora and HTC Music (ah the advantages of Sense.) My problem is desktop sync. Apple makes things really easy for me to manage my music.

Right now, I just converted my whole library to 160 AAC because 128 AAC bugs me out a little too much. I'm going to fire up my Windows VM and retag the whole thing with dBPowerAmp.

Yup, iTunes. iTunes has bad performance on Windows. I wouldn't be using iTunes if I wasn't using a Mac.

I hated itunes. i hated the fact that i could not just plug my phone into the computer and look at my files i had to go through itunes. it took hours to restore 58 apps. thats insane. my dad tried to sync tomtom with itunes and it took over 2 and a half hours for that one apps, thats not including the rest of the apps he had. with android it takes around 10-15 minutes to install all of my apps again and i have 80+ apps, and my turn by turn navigation is free. he had a 3gs and it said he was in a field lol. it could not find where he was. that app is $50 in the app store. the android Google Maps navigation works perfect. their is never any lag and im never in a field. plus its free.

Too bad they don't have WORD and apparently are showing no signs of adding it anytime soon.
A lot of my friends have iphones and playing word is a lot of fun.
I don't want to give it up when I switch to android.
Interesting that one fun and heavily used app may keep me in an iphone when I initially planned on only having it until nexux's price dropped.
