Yeah, it wouldn't do anything. it had this crazy looking symbol on the front screen whether it was connected to the computer or not and even if the battery was out.
I installed ROM manager and it says "you must ROOT your phone for ROM manager to function........ blah, blah, blah." So I guess I'm not rooted anymore :/
