Happy birthday. Cool pics, including the other phone for comparison. Unfortunately I don't have a digi cam and taking pics with a 1.3 mp cam wouldn't do it justice.

Yes, they have screen protectors, but they are not ones that cover the whole screen area.  They are the rectangular ones that are fingerprint/smear resistant.  Not sure about the belt clips or holsters.  I kinda forgot to ask about those, lol.

Thanks for the pics Inuyasha!  I noticed you have a TP2 as well.  Can you comment on the divx/xvid performance on the HD2 compared to the TP2?  I currently have a TP2 and would like to upgrade to an HD2, but I would like the video playback to be smoother with divx videos.

Not really sure I can help you on that one.  I don't think I have any divx/xvid encoded videos.  I had ripped Transformers 2 using DVD Fab to put on my TP2 when that movie came out on video, but I'm not really sure how it was encoded. I think it's in AVI format(bear with me...have only had about 10 mins of sleep since about midnight last night).  I can tell you that the one that comes on the HD2's memory card plays pretty smooth.

Got a call from my CSR at my local store asking if I still wanted the HD2.  Since I had to work I couldn't make it till after 6pm he asked if I want them to hold it for me till then.  All but shouting into the phone I said YES!  Got down to the store and the CSR was still there.  He went in the back and picked brought my shinny new phone up front to check out.  While ringing me up I chitchatted with him.  To find out it is a good thing he saved one for me because they were all sold out.  I asked him how many they had and the answer back was 47. Yes they sold 47 HD2’s today by 6pm.  It was a good thing he pulled one for me or I would not have been able to up load these unboxing pics.

Yup.  When I went in Monday night (after calling me that they had them in) I talked to one of the CSR's and he said 50.  I must of had a question mark on my face because he reiterated by saying 5-0.  I then asked how my they had on their list to call.  That answer was 30.  Looks like I got a little lucky.
