absolutely no bog down what so ever. Phones seamless, but then again i was using the HTC booth demo with just basic apps on it.

The ui is faaaaaaantastic.  i personal liked my slides faves bar and the shortcuts for book marks and stuff like that.

Its very similar to the slide just looks better and improvements here and there.

No official word in what color they are sending me, but from what i was told, reps will be getting Purple.. and only reps will have access to them.  Id rather have a black or red phone=P

Oh Thank God! I've never used a MT so I don't know how bad espresso is but everything I've heard from people (ALOT of people) makes it seem like its as bad as motoblur. If the UI is as fantastic as you say it is, and it feels great (not that plasticky feel), then there will be no holding back this November. Did they mention a specific release date or was it the vague "before the holidays."

come on.. this is espresso we're talkin about.. alot didn't like it.. so u have to go into more detail how 2.2 Espresso is better/improved from 2.1 Espresso.. can u customize it with "Themes" like Sense 2.2 can now? where it changes the home screen dock style (not just by color).. is there a option to remove that horrible bubble from around the app icons? u gotta give us more man.

Most of Espresso, or what people hate about it is in the launcher. This can be removed pretty easily with LauncherPro. You'll still have that useless notification bar but it'll be here to stay since it's now included in the new Sense UI. You'll also still have the Sense apps (messaging, contacts, calendar, etc...) but these weren't really changed for Espresso.

Sorry but I didn't get a long time to play with it. Still waiting for confirmation of when I get mine. Currently I'm using the g2 I got. I can hardly use a phone for a few months b4 I have to demo a new one.  Although I didn't get to play with it long I can say the feel and weight is just right. I like the nice metal feel of the back.

The rumored release date is November 3rd or the 5th. The red one does look hot and it looks like the material is different than the white in the white version. Can't wait to see how the black one looks.

Ya i didn't like it at first but it is starting to grow on me. the front shot on the tmobile website makes it look like it is a fat phone, but the other angles i have been seeing on various websites is changing my opinion.

I hope it is true. I'll be waiting for it as my Christmas present. ;)

It would be nice to see the black one actually be a charcoal carbon fiber look. It does look better, to bad they kept the button and did not make them part of the screen, would have looked a lot cleaner.

You can video chat with either Qik or to a PC through Yahoo! Messenger. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

Any chance for a Halloween release since the Defy is set for Nov.3rd? Would like to see it in hand first, I'm still trying to decide between this and G2.

AndroidCentral has the ROM running on a Nexus 1, it looks pretty good.
