I don't really like the design on this, Nokia should have stayed with the E71/2 design. But I'll wait and see if the specs are at least better than it's looks

Well the E71 was part of T-Mobiles lineup but was never sold at T-Mobile stores or the website but T-Mobile made a deal to sell it at Best Buy for 199.99 on contract I think.

The reviews for this device are stunning. The only bad marks are for the OS. Why Nokia, why?
I support anyone who brings about competition and innovation. Be it Google, Apple, HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Palm, Microsoft, RIM, LG, Sharp, or anyone else I may have forgot. Variety is great. What's good for one person, is dead wrong for another.

I think Nokia still has a lot invested in Symbian and they're not ready to give it up.  Keep in mind Nokia dontated what they owned of it to the Symbian foundation and Symbian was supposed to become what Android eventually became.  Now it is a dying operating system.

This device has the fastest download speed of any phone in T-Mobile's lineup, 10.2 Mbps.  I imagine tethering speeds would be great with this.

But it's style has gone out of date with the 2.4" low resolution screen and front facing keyboard.  At least T-Mobile has it priced well. $300 full retail and $70 with 2 year agreement.
