I looked long and hard to find out how to do this and Nokia finally brought me this little tid-bit.  If you install the Nokia PC Suite on your computer and then connect your Nokia 6263 to you PC in Nokia mode you will be informed that there is an update for your phone.  I didn't realize it was for my phone so I went and downloaded the new PC Suite version 7.  I was told again there was an update so I followed the prompts and updated my phone.  All the T-Mobile stuff I wanted was still there (MyFaves, IM, tzones, etc.) but when I installed GMail it was able to connect.  When I installed Opera Mini it worked.  You name it, it works.  One thing that is now missing is the eMail app T-Mobile added which has been replaced but what is nativly supported by the phone.  I couldn't get it to work (and I didn't really troubleshoot it because it takes so long to set it up and) but I didn't really care because I can use the GMail app and eMoze is also now free and works too.

I have the latest installer but it tells me that I v04.44 is the latest.

I hate Nokia phones.
