Streaming Videos?

Anyone have problems loading videos on youtube? I tried and I get stuck on a black screen with a green loading statement in the upper right corner. Eventually I press escape and get "An error has occurred attempting to play media" message. I've searched and searched google for solutions only to come up with dead ends. Any help would be appreciated, I'm a complete noob when it comes blackberries.

Are you on Wi-Fi? I know that my 8320 when I had it and my 8900 on both 4.6 and 5.0 can't play YouTube over Wi-Fi.

Yes, I'm using Wifi. Any idea on why it isn't working over wifi?

I don't know if this helps but I had to follow these steps to get Youtube working on my new Bold:

go to m.youtube.com and scroll to bottom of page.


click "start optimization"

test 1/7: click "yes" when you see the tiny grey heart
test 2/7: click "yes" when you see the puppy
test 3/7: click "no" when the flash lite video fails
test 4/7: click "click here" when pressing "5" key does squat
test 5/7: there is no test 5 for some reason - skip to test 6/7
test 6/7: click "YES" - the mp4 test video WILL FAIL BUT CLICK "YES" ANYWAY
test 7/7: click "no" - h.263 does not work
