I was really looking forward to the Fender edition honestly.

I think its bull since we have been hearing about the G1v2 and I'll be highly ticked if the mytouch gets revamped before the G1.

i think the next G1 wont come until Q3 b'cuz thats when the early G1 adopters contracts are expired.. we'll see what the HTC  2H phone leak will have..

If they are revamping the MT3G, I hope it includes more than just a 3.5mm headset jack.  How about a beefed up processor and Android 2.1, otherwise its a useless upgrade to current owners.

I happen to love my MT3G still, want a NeXus but 530 is a bit steep at the moment.

Well mytouch3g is the first of the mytouch lineup. Don't think any device with mytouch branded on it would have a keyboard, hence the name. So I don't think it would be the G1v2.(If a G1v2 is even coming)

any more news as to what other feature enhancements are gonna be one mt3g v1.2? my gf just bought her mt3g 3 days ago, she loves it! and after finding out about the new one coming i dunno if i should tell now before her grace period is up or later that a new version of her phone is coming out.

Tell her so she can love you for it later.

And if it dont come out, than you just made her return her phone for nothing.

I completely agree, now that would be worth the version upgrade & they SHOULD allow MyTouch 3G original users a free exchange or something. That's not fair to the customers.

I think the mt3g is an alright fone. Call quality is decent, browser is ok.
Could use a better processor and for sure an update on the camera video, HTC cameras and video is just nasty.

Funny thing is that I'm hopeful that either the sholes tablet, mytouch 1.2 or nexus enterprise will be the device I've been waiting on. Its also funny that Rogers users who have the Dream will get the Magic for free as an exchange if they choose.

So I wonder if this could be the myTouch 'Slide'? I really love the Mytouch, but im a physical keyboard kind of guy, so if this rumor turns out to be the 'Slide', this'll be my future phone for sure.

I had just mentioned in the other thread that it was probably the memphis (the same as this phone that was allegedly for ATT). It looks like a MyTouch with a keyboard

yea, i remember all that hype surrounding att and there "soon to be released" phones.. but most didnt get released huh? and yea, the mytouch slide might look similar to this, but im preddy sure they'll change the front hard buttons style
