Well, it looks like Microsoft is going to put some of their games and xBox looks in the next Sidekick version.

That's not very surprising considering Microsoft bought out Sidekick. Let's see if they make other improvements on the Sidekick.

My guess is, they might one day make a Sidekick for everyone. What I mean by that is, they might make the Sidekick do everything instead of it being very limited. They might make it so it can compete against the iPhone but I don't see that happening at least a year from now. That's my guess. It's NOT fact though.

Keep in mind Microsoft didn't really buy Sidekick.  That is T-Mobile's property.  Microsoft bought Danger which makes the OS and runs the network the Sidekick connects to.  T-Mobile still will have complete control over the hardware and what the phone does.  Most Sidekicks are manufactured by Sharp (with the flop exception for the Motorola Sidekick Slide.)

like i said in the other thread, if would be great if microsoft uses this to push for the next generation of mobile gaming, a sidekick that has similar power to the psp but uses the 3g network for wireless multiplayer (halo mobile?)

hmmm... I never thought of that... maybe they planing to make it into a gaming machine... That will make sense... Nintendo have DS and Microsoft have Danger so it's possible that they are planing to make a new generation of mobile gaming device.

I have said this in another thread, but as before this would be perfect for T-Mobile to have a gaming device, I mean, they try really hard to target the younger audience and this is perfect. However, SE has tried to perfect a PSP type phone with much difficulty lately, but to no avail. Even Nokia, has it's N-Gage gaming phone that is probably the most advanced in gaming phones and their barely starting to get it going. So hopefully T-Mobile, Sharp, and Microsoft can bring us a breaker of gaming phone!

A gaming phone.....I don't know.  They'd definitely want to do something about the current battery technology that is used - I could just see it know, after a marathon gaming session you need to make an emergency phone call....but can't because you're battery just died!  ;)

As for the hardware, it's not like they can't put some decent processor or screen into a phone.  I could see it happening.
