I feel like leaks have been so vague and screwy lately... Having said that, I would be all over the Passion as a Google Experience phone, and I would just about DIE for the Google phone that everyone is hearing buzz about.

I have read so much speculation about what the Passion will be. The one I like the best is an HD2 style phone, similar hardware, running Android 2.1 or later. Those are the kind of devices dreams are made of.
I support anyone who brings about competition and innovation. Be it Google, Apple, HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Palm, Microsoft, RIM, LG, Sharp, or anyone else I may have forgot. Variety is great. What's good for one person, is dead wrong for another.

If this is indeed the HD2 style with Android, I will get it over the Winmo HD2 hands down.

I love rumors with ETA's that are in my foreseeable future. As Im actually applying a fresh layer of scotch tape to my trackball in my curve as we speak!

Please, for the love of god, let this be true, and let it be the kind of powerhouse phone so many people are frothing at the mouth to pounce on.

I would love to buy this for my wife.  But, I am afraid I would have to win the lottery first.  T-Mo pretty much prices their subsidized phones at the top of the market.  Still asking $350 for a subsidized TP2, just because AT&T is still at the same price.  But the AT&T has WM6.5 stock.  Heck, if MT3G had the "normal" RAM and was reasonably priced, I'd buy this for her right now.  But, the T-Mo pricing is keeping us from upgrading.

Yes, I know the 3rd party authorized market has lower prices.  But, if T-Mo would lower its prices, then, I think T-Mo would sell more devices, prevent customers from defecting, and keep all the existing customers who would re-up for 2 years buying at even lower prices from the 3rd party authorized market.  Oh well, I'll keep hoping.

I dont get it.

Its a Google phone...meaning, what?

Is it just another Android phone, with Google slapped on the back of it, aka like the G1 or what?

Just read that the passion will be known as the Bravo in the US and there still saying a Jan release.  No word as to who the carrier is, but praying that it is T-Mo.

I think it will be T-mobile because they need something to combat the Droid, they know they need a super high end phone that will gain them subscribers, and that phone could be it, I think if they didn't get it, then they are stupider then I thought, think about it though, look at all the advertising verizon' AT&T, Sprint does, much more then T-mobile, what T-mobile does not understand is a lot of people dont care about paying more money for their plans if they have a phone like the "hero", or "Droid", people want high end phones period, if plans really made that much of a difference don't you think more people would abandon AT&T?  they wont cuz they love the Iphone, there plans are a lot higher then T-mobile,s yet they remain on top, I will say this, if T-mobile really wants to compete, they need to release more then a few high end phones a year, they need to unleash an onsalught of bad ass phones, no more 528 processors, we want what everyone else is getting, snap dragon, bigger screens, better resolution screens.  Think about this, T-mobile generally has good call quality, rarely drop calls, good customer service, good plans, now if they only got better phones, which they did this year to some degree, if they can do that, they should easily leapfrog over Sprint for the 3rd spot

^dont forget that ATT/VZW most of the time have better covg than T-mo so people stay with them....T-mobile marketing needs show they are becoming better, launching the fastest 3G network.

I hope that isn't true, we need a device like this, I don't need another reason to even think about bailing on T-Mo.  They have good service near me and there prices are great, but if they keep getting passed over for devices that I would probably buy that would not be a good thing.  I really hope they get this.

i want an official confirmed announcement or real true leak..(just like we all do)

but it seems that every major blog/tech site is posting about the passion/bravo being released in jan...BUT i want to know whos gonna carry it if this phone actually exists..

tmobile better get this phone..im out of contract and im waiting to see if theres an android phone worth upgrading for..

im guessing tmonews is not buying any of these rumors because they have not posted anything about this..

on another hand this maybe going to att....

and maybe tmo will the the true "google phone" with the "real" android?.. all this speculating with no sure answers is just not good

I'll try and leak a little more tonight or tomorrow about this deal and how T-Mobile will handle it. I can only discuss so much per my sources wish, but the phone is the worst kept secret.
