Definite increase in Dedham, MA (just south of Boston) right now.  I would always get about 400 kbps on with speedtest.net app on my MT3G.  This afternoon after a reboot I'm consistently getting 700-800 kbps.  Top speed was 841 kbps.  I'm hoping to break that 1 meg barrier!  Let's go TMO!!!!!!

I tried removing my SIM for the hour I was at lunch with no speedier results.

Thats probably an error actually but ive forgotten why 7.2 would be coming now. Think Nexus One/ AT&T/iPhone.

We have been saying it for a while now but mobilespeedtest is not accurate. Has anyone tried to power off there phone and remove the sim for 5min?

Trying that now.  Will report back in 5-10min.

Nope, that didn't help.  Still getting ~1.1Mb/s down and 0.33Mb/s up.

OK, i rebooted my phone, and ran extremelabs speed test and got 619 kbits down and 124 kbits up, and using mobilespeedtest.com im getting 3168 down with .489 sec latency.  I know mobilespeedtest.com is said to not be accurate, so im gonna go with the extremelabs results as they are almost double what i usually get.  I was in dallas on xmas and only got 276 down and 121 up.

there is a gentleman from Goodman Networks here conducting a field survey for T-Mobile, perhaps looking into why I do not have 7.2 Mbps+.
