Well im pretty much pissed off at the fact tha verizon is getting two android phones and att might get the memphis and or the dell android phone...of course these phones are not google branded because of the label in the back, but they are google powered. sprint i can understand even though they didnt want one in the beginning they still contributed...but personally i dont think verizon deserves one.

Well I feel that they deserve to have one at least to sell on their carrier like every carrier deserves the iPhone.

Here's the news about the Dell Android phone going to AT&T:

http://money.cnn.com/2009/10/07/technology/dell_smartphone.reut/index.htm?postversion=2009100715

As far as T-Mobile goes, they were the first but I don't know that it really amounts to much.  With the major carriers all having android phones, that's great for Android users no matter what carrier because there's going to be that many more apps.

But people won't have to switch to T-Mobile to get Android now....not that a lot of people were switching to them for Android to begin with.

I don't like this. Google should have stuck to T-Mobile, and T-Mobile ONLY. AT&T is rumored to get the Dell Android phone early 2010.

http://phandroid.com/2009/10/07/dell-mini-3i-making-its-way-to-america/

And Verizon is getting Android devices so they can compete with AT&T's iPhone.

its a good thing for android and a bad thing for us. iff someone on att, sprint, and verizon just know the pre, blackberry, and iphone. theyll never learn about android. and the more people who know what android is the better. if there is at least 1 android powered device on each carrier then thats great its just that we think we deserve them all, because tmobile stepped into the dark with it. and so did we. im glad the top 4 carriers in the USA will all have an android but at the same time i think tmobile should have them all.

I think the major carriers should have it but not the best ones. Look Verizon is getting the Sholes and what do we have? A MyTouch 3G or G1?

I don't mind Verizon having one, but At&t getting any android device is ludicrous. My reason for saying that is because of, yes, the iphone.
Addicted to flashing ROMS.

This could cause Apple to panic and get out of AT&T exclusivity sooner rather than later.  They definitely do not want Android devices getting entrenched at Verizon before the iphone heads there.  Apple has always been counting on that Verizon potential as another big burst of revenue.

You think verizon should get one....no they have the storm and run through cell phones like water...i read they sold out of the tp2 and is never getting it back in stock...yo thats pretty freakin bold of them to do something like that...now they have the imagio..hell they dont even sell the tp1 and diamond.....they dont deserve nothing..the're plans suck, programming suck and if the phone isnt made by htc the rest of them suck.

I think it's good.  More carriers will mean more development.  The Sholes will be a google experience phone, and so will Sprint's Samsung Moment.  The moment is f-in beautiful btw.

With Verizon investing in AT&T I think T-Mobile USA might have a chance of pulling off a contract with Apple for selling the iPhone this Summer of 2010.

Look its like this we want the law to change where all carriers get the same phone. So we shouldnt be putting down one carrier cuz they have alot of customers.

No i dont want all carriers to have the same phones...who's idea was that...no competition=less push for innovation. i dont know about anyone but i've only met one person with my tp2 if a whole bunch of ppl had it i wouldnt want it anymore....its good to be unique.
