edge vs EDGE

My Pearl 8120 seems to drop my data transfer pretty regularly.  Is this a common T-Mobile Blackberry issue, or a T-Mobile issue in general?

Every now and then I will check to see if I have any messages and I won't and edge will be in lower case.  Then all of a sudden it will come on in EDGE mode and I'll get 6 messages all at once.  The only way I have found to fix this is to restart the phone or wait until it does it on it's own.  Is there another work around or a fix for this?

try the new OS from Tmobile website and after you have done that send the service books from tmobile website to your phone.

edge is when u dont have data activated. EDGE is the opposite. Just turn off & on the mobile network. try this http://www.t-mobile.com/bis/
